Clinical internships
The Clinical Internship Program at Fellow Traveler Counseling (FTC) is more than a clinical experience; it involves career, professional, and personal development. Clinical Interns at Fellow Traveler Counseling have the opportunity to develop clinical skills, implement clinical intervention plans, cultivate meaningful relationships in the community, organize community events, and build strong, professional identities. It is our goal to empower clinical students by providing mentorship, clinical experiences, and learning opportunities in a positive and supportive environment.
undergraduate/postbac internships
The Undergraduate/Postbaccalaureate Internship Program at Fellow Traveler Counseling offers opportunities for career, professional, and personal development. Interns gain experience in marketing, community engagement, event planning, and building a professional identity, all within a supportive and mentorship-driven environment.

Scholarship Program
Fellow Traveler Counseling is proud to introduce our new Pathways to Purpose Scholarship Program, designed to foster and support graduate students pursuing careers in mental health. By investing in future mental health professionals, we aim to strengthen the field and ensure access to compassionate, high-quality care for years to come.
Eligibility requirements

Enrollment in a Graduate Counseling Program
Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a master's-level counseling program, including school counseling, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work. -
Demonstrated Community Service Involvement
We seek applicants with a strong history of community service, including volunteer work, advocacy, or active participation in initiatives that improve the well-being of others, especially those from underserved communities. -
Passion for the Counseling Profession
We are looking for applicants who are not only dedicated to their studies but also have a deep passion for the counseling profession. Applicants should be able to articulate their "Why" — the personal motivations and aspirations driving their desire to serve others through counseling.
Candidate Selection
The scholarship selection format is designed to encourage all future mental health clinicians to apply. Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program with the intention to pursue licensure in the field. The Selection Committee will vote to determine the scholarship recipient(s).
